QUICK SUMMARY 
The Deburrer Specialist is a critical member of our machining team. This individual is responsible for preparing and finishing parts by removing slag, tabs, and sharp edges to ensure all components meet quality standards before final surface treatment or shipment. Strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to stand and focus for extended periods of time are essential for success in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform manual deburring operations
Remove tabs, slag, rust, and sharp edges from sheet metal
Prepare raw materials for final surface treatment
Operate shop tools such as orbital sanders, Timesavers, Fladder, belt sanders, and hand tools (training provided)
Handle finished parts carefully to prevent damage
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to learn to read blueprints
Ability to learn how to use shop tools
High school diploma or GED required
Experience in manufacturing or prototyping is a plus
